So now it's cooled down after all the beach shots. Not strictly chronological, as Rufus is back. Some debate though as to the date. I think we might be a bit too old for this to be the legendary 62/63 freeze, so maybe a year or two after.

More snow, and the passage of a few years. Top middle pic shows us with Bobby Grace, then - we move North! Well, north of the Southcoast road anyway - Pat got fed up with the old cold house, (no central heating) and the fact that if it was ever windy (did happen in Peacheaven ---) tiles blew off the roof. So in August '67 we moved to a modern semi on Bramber avenue only to get a surprise snowfall,in early December (I think). We were sent home from scholl early in the middle of a blizzard. Not one of Mrs Evans' best decisions. At least we had a day off.

So, Bramber Avenue. Family in the back garden, and at the front of the house Patrick in his Tidway school uniform cape, while Martine makes a customary face. Ditched the Morrises and now theres an Escort in the drive

Telscombe and Tideway

Patrick and I went to Roderick Avenue Infants, then on to Telscombe and Tideway. Martine went to Hoddern Avenue, and we move away before she went to secondary school. Here's some more school photos

Top left at "High and Over" (near Alfriston) Then some school photos. Would have liked to have one of the group photos they did of all the year, but they were expensive and didn't seem very important at the time . Does anyone have a group photo form this period? (1969/70ish)
